- Personal data jobseeker
In order for TreeToTextile to be able to handle applications that you as a jobseeker have submitted, conduct interviews and then make decisions in a recruitment procedure, we must process certain personal data. The basis for this treatment is a balance of interests based on our legitimate interest in recruiting new staff.
The personal information we process is based on the information you provide to us through our own channels or through contact with one of our suppliers in the recruitment area – for example external websites or consultants who carry out recruitment for us.
Recruitment companies hired by us are normally responsible for personal data for the processing they carry out. We are only responsible for the processing of personal data handed over to us and which is used in the continued recruitment process.
The personal data we may process about you includes name, address, e-mail address, social security number, grades, certificates, education and work experience, photography, results from tests, information from reference person (regarding eg assessment and attendance) and information such as are necessary for follow-up of a recruitment case.
In connection with recruitment, you may be required to perform personality and aptitude tests, in the performance of TreeToTextile or recruitment companies. You may then need to approve additional terms for the processing of your personal data.
- Background check and more
In recruitment, we may in some cases need to perform background checks, credit checks, health checks or drug tests on you. Such checks may contain sensitive personal information about you and you will give special consent before a background check, credit check, health check or drug test is performed.
In individual cases, we may ask you to submit an extract from the debit register. You are the one who orders such an extract from the relevant authority. It is always you who decides if you want to order a debit register extract. If you choose to give up, it can affect your chances of becoming eligible for the advertised position. The excerpt will be opened by you together with us. You keep the debit register extract yourself. We only note that such an extract has been presented and that it has been judged to be OK.
In certain situations, it may be necessary for us to obtain your approval to request credit information through an external credit information company, such as if your duties will include processing large amounts on our behalf independently.
- Storage times
We normally delete all information collected in connection with the recruitment, after the recruitment has ended.
- Your rights under the GDPR
You as an individual have the right to own access to the personal data we process about you as well as information about the scope and purpose of such processing. If you request access to your personal information more than once a year, we may charge a fee. You also have the right to request deletion or correction of your personal data or restriction of processing that concerns you at any time. You also have the right to object to processing and the right to data portability in accordance with what applies according to the GDPR.
If a particular treatment is based on your consent, you can choose to revoke your consent at any time. This does not affect the legality of treatment that took place before the consent was revoked.
You also have the right to submit a complaint to the Privacy Protection Authority if you believe that our treatment is against the law.
- Receiver
We do not share your personal information with any third party other than the recruitment company if such has been hired for the recruitment. We do not transfer personal data to third countries.
- Whistleblowing
As a jobseeker, you have the right to use our whistleblower channel if you receive information about misconduct within TreeToTextile in connection with the recruitment. Read more about this in our whistleblower policy.
